I would like to honor my son’s teacher, Mrs. Nettles, for her dedication, care, and commitment to her students. What makes Mrs. Nettles truly awesome is the way she goes above and beyond to support not only her students’ academic success, but also their personal growth. She creates a positive and encouraging classroom environment that makes students feel motivated and excited to go to class. Her high expectations, paired with genuine support, help students believe in themselves and strive to do their best. Mrs. Nettles consistently shows how much she cares by staying in close communication with us as parents. She regularly emails to keep us informed about grades, assignments, and behavior, ensuring that no student falls behind and that families are always aware and involved. She has played an important role in helping my son become a more confident and responsible student by encouraging him to improve, take initiative, and explore new opportunities. One example of this was her encouragement for him to join a school club, which helped him grow socially and feel more connected to the school community. Inside and outside of the classroom, Mrs. Nettles continuously supports her students and advocates for their success.
