Ms. Coakley is honestly one of the best reading teachers I’ve ever had. From the very first week of class, she made reading feel interesting instead of like a chore. She explains everything in a way that actually makes sense, and if someone doesn’t understand, she takes her time to help them without getting frustrated. In her class, we don’t just read stories—we really understand them. Ms. Coakley always asks questions that make us think deeper about the characters and the message of the story. She also lets us share our own ideas, and she actually listens, which makes students feel respected. What I like most is how positive the classroom feels. Even when reading gets challenging, she encourages everyone and reminds us that it’s okay to make mistakes as long as we’re trying. Because of her, I’ve become a more confident reader, and I actually look forward to reading assignments now. I’m a happy student in her class, and I feel lucky to have a teacher like Ms. Coakley who really cares about her students and wants them to succeed.
