Mrs. Chappelle is one of the best teachers to ever have. Every Friday she makes time to play a game with her students and always makes lessons fun and active. Every time I walk in to school from the buses she is waiting for her class and says good morning to me and gives me a hug even though I am no longer in her class. She spends the weekends making math flash cards and preparing fun activities for her class. She hosts running club and signs the entire club up for the 5-Ks and making all of us feel included. Once, when me and my sister's bus changed and we didn't know, she took my sister into my room and helped her calm down, and my sister wasn't even in her class! I am so thankful to have had her as my third grade teacher and I know she will make every student she has feel the same way she made me feel. She absolutely deserves this.
