Firstly, he is probably the most laid back and calm teacher I ever had, and unlike most teachers he actually cares about his students and socializes with them and actually helps them. The biggest factor that makes me want to go to this class is the fact that he always seems so laid back and ready for the day. He makes it pretty obvious that he cares about each and every one of his students by mainly socializing with them and guiding them through classwork. One of the main things he does to keep me motivated and confident is his attitude. Most teachers only care about their students getting high grades and turn in stuff on time, but Mr. Canales only wants us to try our best and get the work done. He doesn't care, if our best is a 67 on a test, then he understands that and will try to improve us. He hasn't really supported me outside of the classroom but inside the classroom, he keeps me motivated, he socializes with me and the other students and he is overall just a chill guy.
