STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

In fifth grade I had this teacher named Mr.Lanch. He was awesome because he always found cool or fun ways to do a reading subject, like when he let us walk around the room and march like soldiers to find a team to work with on a project. Growing up I was a rude kid who was ready to fight but he got me excited to go to school by letting me volunteer to deliver papers or computers to other classes. He’d also let me at least try to answer questions to give me a chance. Mr. Lancho would let me know that he cared about me by always checking in on me when I looked sad or angry. He made me a better student by showing me kindness and I know I'm a better student because I've gotten older and my grades have gone up and I have been a much more mature and outgoing student in class because of his lessons. He helped me inside the classroom by giving me a chance to change but he helped me outside of class by giving me a ride home with my little brother since my mother was struggling to get me to school and back home so he drove me.
