Something about my teacher that makes her awesome is that throughout my freshman and sophomore years, she’s always been supportive—not just of me, but of other students. Ms. Cuff is not only supportive, but she also knows how to manage the classroom when a student acts out. When someone needs to be talked to, she knows how to defuse the situation, making the students feel so much better. Not only is she awesome, but her class is one of my favorites. She makes me feel comfortable, and you know that anxious feeling you get when you have to read in front of others? I don’t get that anymore because she makes it feel okay to make mistakes. That is why I feel so confident when I leave her class; I feel like I can reset after a long day of rushing. Her class helps me decompress, and she ensures that we pass all of our classes because she wants us to succeed and graduate. Even if not many people know Ms. Cuff like I do, I’ll always remember how she pushed me to strive. She showed me how it feels to be human and to be okay with mistakes, which is what makes her so awesome in my book.
