It is difficult to put into words just how much of an impact you’ve had on Owen, over the past few years. Having the privilege of learning from you not just once, but twice—during such important stages in both second and fifth grade—has been incredibly meaningful for him and for us as a family. You’ve given him so much more than classroom instruction. Because of you, he’s developed a budding love for the Spanish language and a confidence in speaking it that continues to grow every day. Even more, your encouragement in science and STEM (especially through opportunities like Math Bowl and math enrichment) has sparked a curiosity and excitement in him that we know will stay with him for years to come. What stands out most is the way you see your students as individuals and inspire them to stretch beyond what they think they can do. Owen adores you, not just as a teacher, but as someone who believes in him. Thank you for your patience, your passion, and the lasting influence you’ve had on his life. We feel incredibly lucky that he’s had you guiding him on his elementary educational journey!
