Mr. Lockhart provided me both good education and a feeling of belonging. I could tell he genuinely cared about me and my grades. He would always be willing to help me with any work I had. It didn't matter if it was work for him or work for another class. I have never had a better teacher in my entire life and I don't think there is anyone more deserving of this award. I sincerely hope he does get this award, out of every teacher I have had in my life he has been the most influential and most important to me. He helped me with my work and my mental health, while I had his class I was going through a very difficult time in my life. He was there for me to speak to, to confide in, he seemed less like a teacher and more of a parental figure. I still see him as a parental figure even two years after I saw him last. Going to his class I knew I would learn and have fun at the same time and it made me actually want to learn. Mr. Lockhart is an amazing teacher, and while I know I am biased I think he is one of the best. Mr. Lockhart is the best teacher, and will foever have changed my life for the better and I cannot thank him enough. If he got this award and knew who nominated him, I hope it would show my graditude for him and all he has done for me. So I sincerely emplore you to choose Mr. Lockhart for the "Life-Changing Award" because that is what he did.
