My choir director is an amazing teacher because they make every class feel welcoming and full of energy. What makes them awesome is how passionate they are about music and how they bring that passion into everything we do. They don’t just teach us how to sing David and Blanco they teach us how to feel the music and express ourselves. One of the things that makes me excited to go to class is how they make rehearsals fun and engaging. Whether it’s trying new songs, doing warm ups that actually wake us up, or giving us chances to perform, they always find ways to keep things interesting. They make choir feel like a place where I want to be, not just somewhere I have to go. They show they care about us by always encouraging us and checking in on how we’re doing, not just as students but as people. They listen when we need help and celebrate our progress, even the small wins. That makes a big difference because it shows they really believe in us. They help me become a better and more confident student by pushing me to do my best while still being supportive. They give helpful feedback and remind me that it’s okay to make mistakes as long as I keep improving. Because of them, I feel more confident singing in front of others and trusting my abilities. Inside and outside the classroom, they support us by giving their time and effort to help us succeed. Whether it’s extra practice, preparing us for performances, or just being someone we can talk to, they go above and beyond.
