Ms. Dejesus is an amazing coach because she always pushes me to do my best on the track. She doesn’t let me give up, even when practice gets hard, and she motivates me to keep going and improve. She makes track something I look forward to by bringing energy and encouragement every day. She shows she cares by paying attention to how we’re doing, checking in on us, and pushing us because she knows what we’re capable of. She has helped me become more confident by reminding me to believe in myself and trust my abilities. Her support on and off the track has made me stronger mentally and physically, and I’m really grateful to have her as my coach and teacher
