I was super nervous about my baby boy going to school. He's my youngest, and although he was excited to go to school, I wasn't sure how he would do. We attended meet the teacher, and as fate would have it, walked into Mrs.Zachary's class. I knew immediately he would be alright. She was my oldest son's very 1st teacher, 7 years ago at a totally different school. I warned her they are not the same kid and she laughed. It took him about a month to acclimate, which was very different from my eldest, and difficult for me. I was plagued with guilt, but she was so assuring to me, and patient with him. That made all the difference. He would literally push through just to go see his teacher friend, Mrs.Zachary. He has thrived under her. His little 4 year old vocabulary astonishes me on a weekly basis. He's confident, and resilient and I'm so appreciative of her guidance. She's always reachable and has answered every time I've needed her! I have honestly not had to worry about my man child. I tell her I trust her completely with him and I do. What's even greater is she gives this same energy to all 24 students! I'm sure I'm not the only parent that feels this way about Mrs. Zachary! Mrs. Zachary has superseded my expectations for Forest's first year!!
