What makes this teacher awesome is that even though he was incredibly menacing in the beginning of school, he slowly made me comfortable at Roberson as he gave his morals and lessons while being funny at the same time. Some things Mr. King does to make me excited to go to class is his famous catchphrase "Oh Mufasa!" He is honestly my favorite teacher of all of my years at Roberson. I remember when I got caught and I was in trouble, instead of embarrassing me in front of the class, he brought me outside and had a talk with me, and he made me understand the feelings and responsibility I didn't even know was present. Mr. King does not make fun of people, he only gives back handed compliments at most. I felt insecure about my haircut one time and instead of making fun of me, Mr. King said he loved it, and it made me the most happiest student and made me really confident. Mr. King monitors the halls without being asked and corrects people formally, like me.
