Ms Hunt and her assistants go above and beyond every day to support and care for the special kids in their classroom. Ms Hunt is asked to not only teach and grow each individual kid, she is tasked with caring for their daily needs as well. She works with individual goals to help each child exceed their full potential. My child Ethan is nonverbal but has made enormous strides using a communication device to share his wants and needs. He is learning to stand and walk and transfer from one space to another. She focuses on these actions every day with joy and eagerness. Ms Hunt knows that Ethan takes time to engage with his learning and she is dedicated to giving enough wait time while also holding him to his responsibilities. Teachers like Ms Hunt are few and far between. She and her assistants should be celebrated for the amazing job they do every single day!
