Mrs Lachopelle , changed my way of seeing high school and Dekaney it self . She came as a new teacher in our class and I immediately knew she was going to be the teacher I look up too . I didn’t like the school and the environment because how it was ran and how unorganized everything was and how staff members treat us , but mrs lachopelle was different then all of them she made class worth going to and being on time for she was actually A teacher ! She has helped me personally with motivation and her advice when i’m not at and while i’m at school . Early in the morning she would be playing gospel or any positive music . Some teachers come to play around and sit and not actually interact with the kids to get them to do work . She always made work more interesting there was not a day that it was boring or stressful. Her class was the only exciting part of the day truly , knowing that I am coming to just be in her positive space . She prays with us , she actually gets to know her children that she teaches and I love her so much for it . We actually learn about things we had no idea about she taught it to us so perfectly through the screen and physically .I just appreciate meeting some like her . I’ve been going to Dekaney since 9th grade and now about to graduate. I can say I’ve haven’t met anyone like her .
