This is Bijan’s first year in public school. He has advanced exponentially. His confidence in his abilities has grown which is now reflected in the way he speaks. I hear him using words that he could have only learned from Mrs Wang. He also likes to remind me of what Mrs Wang has said which just shows how much he respects and admires her. I am amazed each week at what he has learned and now find him reading words as we shop or ride in the car. She truly makes learning fun for him and he enjoys feeling that he has done a good job in class. It’s so important for school to be attached to positive learning experiences and I’m grateful to know he is being nurtured as he learns.
