This school year is the first for our family to have a student who attends a Clark county school. As parents there are so many fears we face when it comes to our little ones. We were planning on homeschooling but our plans changed. Our little girl wanted to go to school! We enrolled her in cahlan Elementary to begin her schooling. So many of our worries faded when we met her teacher Ms. Osborne. From the beginning, she was so incredibly supportive, kind, caring and so much more. It reassured us that our little girl was in the best hands possible. God has a way in putting the right people in her path. And Ms. Osborne has been a blessing. She communicates often not only with her students but the parents as well. Keeping us updated. And as a parent I can not begin to tell you how important that is to me. She identified needs for my daughter as I’m sure she does for the rest of her students. And acted on those finds in order to help her succeed. At the beginning of the year my daughter was placed in RTI. And with Ms. Osbornes help and support she’s all caught up. She really did set her up for a successful school career. I remember my first grade teacher because she made a huge impact in my life. And I know my daughter feels the same about Ms. Osborne. It eases my heart and mind to hear my child come home after school and have nothing but good things to say about her teacher. She finds different ways to engage her students. And I know this because of all the things my daughter tells me. She makes class fun but with purpose. As a teacher with a classroom full of students I’m sure she gets busy yet she manages to keep communication with parents, keep up with her work and follow up with her students. She always answers any questions that we may have, and makes sure we know she’s there. We are a team, with the same goal and that is to help Brielle succeed. I can’t thank her enough for always being available to answer my questions and communicate with me when my child needs help. She truly goes above and beyond. And cares about her students.
