Ms. Keegan is an absolute gem. I have seen her go above and beyond time and again for her kiddos in class. She always has a warm and welcoming smile and I can see how comfortable the kids in her class are with her. Ms. Keegan challenges her students and makes learning fun at the same time. My son is always so excited to go to school and comes home pumped to tell me what he learned that day. Special teachers are able to make learning exciting and fun for the kids. The Zoo day that Ms. Keegan put on with the kids blew me and my husband away. To see how much time and effort she and the class put into researching, writing and designing 3D Models of animals, combined with decorating the classroom, memorizing lines and materials and performing in front of parents - it was all so incredibly impressive for a 1st grade class!! And it was all because of Ms. Keegan!! As a parent, I feel welcome to talk to Ms. Keegan about any issues that may be important regarding my kiddo. She has been helpful and responsive to me in so many ways. As I said earlier, she is truly a gem. We are so very fortunate to have our son spend his days with her! He has learned so much and she is helping shape his love for learning. For that, we are forever grateful!
