I am writing about my favorite teacher, Miss Cluver. I am writing about this teacher because she has kept me on task and keeps me thinking about my grade. Miss Cluver is my favorite teacher because she created a safe space and most of the time she keeps us learning and focused on what we are doing but every once in a while we get to play games and build bonds with our peers. We do a lot of teamwork and Miss Cluver keeps everyone engaged and on task. Miss Cluver always tells us her goals in how she hopes we get into whatever college we want to go to. She makes it very clear that she wants only the best for us. Miss Cluver listens to what we think could make the class better and applies that to our learning,keeping us enjoying what we learn. We even did an assignment where we had to do 3 kind things to 1 stranger and 2 family/ friends. This is not only teaching us how to be kind, but also how kindness can influence others. Miss Cluver focuses on showing us what we can do instead of what we cant, And anything we cant do she teaches us in a way that we understand and encourages us by saying things like “try again” or “how about we try this another way” and giving us second and even third chances. Miss cluver reframeses from sayed no or thats bad and instead she says “why don't we redo that” or “why don't we slow down and try again” she never uses you and instead maks it feel more like you aren't alone by using we and us.Miss, Cluver keeps her door open whenever she can and keeps a safe space where if anything happens we are welcome to come down to her room and talk it out. Miss Cluver makes the changes that others want to see or that others want for greater good. This is why I want to honor her in every way I can. So thank you miss,cluver.
