Ms. Ferguson is a wonderful teacher because she always helps her students, not just those in her English as a Second Language classes, which is her area of expertise, but everyone. She is always kind and helps us solve our problems without making us feel stressed, and she shows her care for us through her constant presence and support. One day, I needed help adjusting my class schedule, and she didn't have to accompany me to the guidance counselor's office and help me, but she did. She is a wonderful person and an excellent teacher, the best teacher I've ever had, and she absolutely deserves to win this award.
