Dear Katelyn McClure, I’ve been reflecting on my journey in education, and I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to you. Being in your second-grade classroom since the very first day of school has been an incredible experience that I will carry with me throughout my career. Watching you build a community from the ground up has taught me so much about the heart of teaching. Your dedication to your students and your ability to make every day a meaningful learning experience is truly inspiring. I am so grateful for the way you’ve welcomed me into your space and for the mentorship you’ve provided over these many months. Thank you for your constant support, your patience, and for being a shining example of what it means to be an educator. I couldn't have asked for a better environment to grow in or a better teacher to learn from.
