My 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Minyard, is someone I will always remember. She made that year one of the best school years I’ve ever had. What made Ms. Minyard so awesome wasn’t just what she taught, it was how she made everything feel fun and exciting. Even on regular days, she had a way of turning simple lessons into something we looked forward to. Her classroom felt warm and happy. When you walked in, you just knew it was going to be a good day. She truly cared about her students. You could see it in the way she listened when we talked and how she paid attention to how we were feeling. If someone was having a hard day, she noticed. She made everyone feel included and important, like we all mattered. Ms. Minyard helped me grow not just as a student, but as a person. She encouraged me to try my best and reminded me that I was capable of more than I thought. Because of her, I felt more confident speaking up, asking questions, and believing in myself. She didn’t teach lessons from a book, she taught kindness, confidence, and joy. I’m really grateful I had her as my teacher, and I’ll always appreciate how she made learning something I loved.
