Michael has had some questionable experiences in the past with teachers who didn’t see his potential or understand his needs. But you see how smart he is. You recognize that he is capable and that he just needs the right tools and support to grow. That belief in him changes the way he experiences school, and it gives me comfort and hope as his parent.
