Mrs. Zirk is the best Elementary teacher I have ever had! She is so amazing because she is the only teacher that I could thoroughly understand math with, and math never comes easy to me. I was always looking forward to greeting her in the morning and have a nice steady day. She cared about me because every time I was sick or missed an assignment she'd talk with me about what to do and how to do it, sometimes she even let me take an assignment off, which would take a lot of worry out of me. Mrs. Zirk had always made me confident by encouraging me and others to keep practicing the Great American Challenge and I eventually made the push and was able to complete it all because of her. Every time I see her outside the classroom I smile and wave and remember how great of a teacher she was, and that is something I'll never forget, this is a teacher that deserves to be honored.
