Ms. Hubert goes above and beyond to help her students grow in the deep, immense, complex world of English Language and Literature. When Walter needed extra attention and redirection, she provided it swiftly, to intervene so he stayed on the right path and his motivation for his work was renewed. Walter loves this class, even when the work is involved or "a lot", and when it may not come as naturally to him as some subjects like History and Design/Coding. Ms. Hubert is also Walter's Advisory teacher and shows her appreciation of his gifts so kindly, generously, and with a beautiful humor and spirit. As his mother, she reminds me to be grateful for the gift of him as my child and the responsibility of helping him develop further as a student, young man, and New Orleanian with MJCS IB values.
