Mr. Heller is an awesome teacher because he actually takes the time to help us students when we need it. He gives us tips that make learning easier. He makes class something I look forward to because I know I’m going to learn something real, and I know he’s there to support me if I get stuck. He shows he cares by paying attention to how we’re doing, not just what we’re doing. When I was stressed out working on a fender because I messed up, he didn’t get mad or make me feel worse. He reassured me, helped me and worked with me so I could finish the rest. Moments like that make a big difference because it shows he actually wants us to succeed. He makes me a better and more confident student by pushing me to keep going even when something feels hard. He gives advice that actually helps me and he explains things in a way that makes sense. In the classroom, he’s always willing to help, That’s why he’s such a great teacher. Inside the classroom, he supports me by helping answering questions, and making sure and understand what I’m doing. Outside the classroom, he supports me by checking in on how I’m doing mentally and encouraging me when I’m stressed or doubting myself. He teaches skills, but he also teaches mindset and not give up on myself.
