Mrs. Beeghly is an extremely comforting and safe teacher that I look forward to seeing every other day. Her classroom is a calm environment with soft lighting and decorations so it doesn't look bland. She tries to relate to the students more by asking them things they know about history and sharing some of her own stories to make the class feel more engaging instead of it just being a "take this info here's a test" kind of thing. Also, whenever there is a mishap with a student or two where they were misbehaving, she doesn't get angry at the class and instead just treats those students a little more sternly for a day or two and then everything goes back to normal. She gives work that is easy to understand and explains how to do it well, which helps avoid confusion and extra questions, even though she still encourages students to ask them. She personally makes me a better and more confident student by asking about and sharing personal experiences, as well as giving motivation to do work and letting me rest whenever I need, as she understands that it's difficult to be awake and do a large work load every day at school. Overall, Mrs. Beeghly is my favorite teacher this year and she really deserves more recognition than she gets!
