My son had the pleasure of having Mrs.Berry as a teacher this year. Her patience and understanding for my son was extraordinary. Having a child with delayed speech and issues learning as fast as their peers can be a big concern for parents. There’s a fear for parents that the teacher may not be able to give them the attention they need. Not only did she have one on one time with him. She also sent back packets to help with reading and writing to ensure that he did not fall behind. In addition to the quarterly reports and parent meetings she also updated me with any challenges he was facing, issues with regulating his emotions or any other concerns she may have. Although the year had its challenging parts she made the best of it. I can only hope that his teacher next year is as caring.
