STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

Coach is awesome because he saw the aspirations and potential I had with drawing. At first, it was hard to work in his class and get used to the type of things we did in his class. But moving forward, I learned and grew from those difficulties with making masterpieces now. He’s happy all around when we walk into class and always has a lot of jokes. He lifts our feet’s back up when we could be having such a stressful day. Coach pushes us. That’s how we know he cares about us because no one would tell you with even a silly drawing looking bad that it looks really good. Give us harder drawings when he knew we were capable of doing so. Also, due to me having dual enrollment in sophomore year I didn’t have a chance to get a class with him until he put me in the next grade. He makes me feel like a better student because he always applauses my drawings and critiques them to help me improve and make them better. Not only that, but he helps us with the drawing by writing it with us and seeing if we would like to weigh out both options. Not only that, but, he lets us draw what we want to draw by the category with so much depth into it. He doesn’t ever judge you for you, if anything he encourages you to be your own artist! Inside and out of the classroom he’s supported me through my mental state of being by always saying hi to me even when I am having a bad day or better yet makes a joke to brighten the mood. He’s a great teacher. For a subject I wasn’t so fond of, he made it count and 1 of my most favorite subject yet!
