Mr.Lockhart is an amazing teacher as his way of teaching music allowed me to love music again. I didn’t know that music itself can go far until I joined the North Miami Beach Marching Band. He’s very understanding and cares for the well-being of students, he also likes dad jokes. I became more confident when I started playing the clarinet under his guidance I started to notice that just like my musical abilities I can grow as a person and see the improvement I make. Outside the classroom I notice a change in character of students around me, majority of the people I’m friends with in band weren’t the best people when they started out but it truly brought out the best versions of themselves when music is involved. That’s why I think Mr.lockhart is a great influence and teacher.
