What makes Mr Rowley awesome is how they turn "boring" history into something we actually care about. He makes you excited to go to class because they bring a "what if" energy to every discussion. He doesn't ask what happened in 1776; they ask how we would have felt if we were the ones standing there. He'll let you know that he cares about you by never letting you feel like a "side character" in the classroom. What Mr Rowley does to make me feel like a better and more confident student is how they handle being wrong. His support goes way past the history wing. He makes students feel better by switching subjects to brush off problems they have in their life. He sometimes does fun group activities to make the class less boring. To Mr Rowley, history isn't just about the past, it’s about how we show up for each other right now.
