I have had the pleasure of having Dr. Oram-Shortt as my history teacher for three long years. Throughout this time, she has displayed immense qualities of a wonderful teacher who cares deeply about the wellbeing of her students. She creates a soothing and nurturing environment, allowing her students to express themselves freely and safely. She encourages her students to seize opportunities to help further their education. She teaches with such poise and passion that it’s a joy being in her presence. In conclusion, I have found my experience as her student to be fulfilling and jubilating. Dr. Oram-Shortt was the sole driving force in helping me pursue dual enrollment and for that, I am forever grateful. Thank you for all of your efforts, Dr. Oram-Shortt! You are a wonderful human being and the world is so lucky to have a teacher like you.
