Congratulations to
Life-Changing Teaching Award Nominee
JACIRA BASULTO
MAYA ANGELOU ELEMENTARY
STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY
When i was in fourth she would treat me and my classmates like her children. She would make her class fun no matter what. She would comfort us if we were upset, and make me and my classmates confidence about ourselves. She has been supporting me and my classmates still even though we are not in her class anymore. Her class is so exciting when we visit her, because it feels like we are in fourth again. She would take us to field trips when me and classmates were in fourth grade. Every time we had a party she would put the best movies and make us feel like we were at homes and it was very comfortable. she would make funny jokes at anytime and we all laugh, she has a sweetness i cant explain. And every time she would talk about us being so smart its like i cant describe it. I really love Ms.basulto because she's like a second mom for me. She is the definition of kindness and sweetness. She's always there for us and supporting us, she would ask us for our test scores like if she were our teacher still. I don't want the school year end because that means me and my classmates wont see Ms.Basulto anymore. She's the type of teacher that would treat us equally. She's the best teacher i ever had.
