Mr. Pericles isn’t like any other teacher. He actually teaches, like really teaches. He doesn’t just stand there and read off slides or give us busy work. He really knows what he’s talking about, and you can tell he understands the subject. When someone doesn’t get something, he explains it in a way that makes it easier to understand instead of just moving on. He uses his own knowledge and real-life examples to help us learn, which makes class more interesting. He doesn’t fake it or act like he knows everything he actually does know it. He makes sure his students are paying attention and really understanding the lesson. Even if it takes extra time, he wants us to get it. What I like most about him is that he makes me feel comfortable. Even though he gives tough love and sometimes lectures us, it’s because he cares. You can tell he wants us to do our best and be successful. He’s strict when he needs to be, but he’s also really kind. He’s also super funny. He makes me and my friends laugh all the time, which makes class way more fun. Even on boring days, he somehow makes it entertaining. Overall, Mr. Pericles is not just a good teacher — he’s one of the best because he cares, he teaches well, and he makes learning enjoyable.
