Ms. Vargas was a great teacher last year, and i know she still is today, She was my mariachi teacher last year before i moved to Woodbury. I would wake up excited knowing i had her class first thing in the morning, we would always have such good laugh in there whether it was us two or a whole group or our whole class. Ms. Vargas cares about everyone, last year she would always let me talk to her about random stuff and would listen to me even if what i told her was something silly. She made me more confident playing the violin, and she made me a better player. Ms. Vargas always said violin isn’t her best instrument but she taught us really well, as well as the teacher assistant, Ms. B. They led me to where i am now in mariachi, if it wasn’t for them i probably wouldn’t even be in mariachi today, they taught me so much things and for that i am really grateful. Ms. Vargas has supported me through many ways, She would always have doors open (hypothetically) when someone needed a person they can count on to talk to. Her classroom was like a safe space to me, Something i remember her telling us last year in the beginning of the year was, “If you ever have one of those days where your just not feeling it, tell me and i’ll let you relax.” I really do miss her and being in her class, she was a great teacher and i bet she still is!!
