Ms. Vargas is an awesome mariachi teacher because she brings so much passion and positivity that it makes me excited to go to class every day. She shows she cares by taking the time to help me individually and always checking in to make sure I’m doing okay. She makes me a better and more confident student by encouraging me to try my best, believe in myself, and step out of my comfort zone. Inside and outside the classroom, she supports me by listening, guiding me, and always making sure I feel valued as both a student and a musician. -Izaiah Johnson
