When other parents ask me why do you have your kids at this school when it's far from your house, I always tell them my kids deserve the best. And with that being said, Mrs. Baez is the best teacher in the region. She strives to make everyday a fun, educational and nurturing environment for all of her students. She caters individually to each of her students needs inorder for them to reach their full potential. She goes out of her way to involve parents in the classroom setting. Her constant communication creates a bond with parents that let's us know that our kids are really her kids. I've never seen another teacher do what she does. She's a teacher, Drama coach, Robotics coach and after school tutor. She's the real life wonder woman. My son has had her as a teacher for the last 4 years. He's never had a single complaint about anything. All I hear from him when I pick him up, is about the things he's working on in class. And sometimes he talks about things I've never heard about, but he talks about it with such joy that makes me realize he's enjoying class. Mrs.Baez has actually pushed him out of his comfort zone. He use to be shy and soft spoken. Mrs Baez encouraged him to join the drama class. He is now comfortable talking to crowds. Hes participated in many drama skits, performing for the school. We've gone to robotics competitions on weekends and Mrs. Baez is always there. She encourages the kids to try and try without fear of failure. For her teaching is not a job, its a lifestyle that she loves. She's transformed my child into a sophisticated intellectual member of society. And I feel strongly that Mrs.Baez influence on him is the reason my child is successful in both academics and in society. Mrs.Baez is one of a kind. She sets the bar for what teaching should be. Every student deserves a Mrs. Baez.
