My AVID teacher is truly awesome for so many reasons. One thing that makes her stand out is her incredible work ethic. She pours her heart and soul into her teaching, and it shows in every class. Even when she's facing her own personal challenges, she remains dedicated to us and finds a way to thrive. It's inspiring to see. To make us excited to come to class, she incorporates engaging activities and discussions that spark our interest. She often shares relevant stories, making every lesson feel meaningful and impactful. She shows that she cares by making an effort to check in with each of us individually, whether it’s during class or out through email outside of school hours. Her genuine concern for our well-being is evident, and it creates a supportive environment where we feel valued. Her guidance has also made us better and more confident students. She challenges us to push our limits, providing constructive feedback that helps us grow. She encourages us to set goals and celebrates our achievements, no matter how small. Whether it's academic support or just being there to listen when we need someone to talk to, she has supported us inside and outside of the classroom.
