When my son was coming to Frias Elementary for his 5th grade year we knew that Ms.Alcala would be a perfect fit. I have never seen a person more fitting to teach that age of students. She gets their humor, sarcasm, and of course moods. Ms. Alcala makes learning so fun and hands on. As my son says “she has good strategies.” My son hated school before this year and is now eager every morning to see what lesson is going to be taught in class. She has a way of connecting with every kid. Thank you Ms. Alcala for being there for my son, making him feel smart and creative.
