STUDENT RECOGNITION STORY

Dear Ms. Lukow, A teacher is a person that is supposed to teach. I appreciate teachers that care about students and don't just go there for work. I admire the teachers that care about the students' grades. I respect the teachers that try to help the students and not just leave them on their own. Especially teachers that make class feel exciting and not boring. You are definitely one of those teachers. Thank you for being such a great teacher. I really appreciate how you explain books and the meanings of the book, The Outsiders, and different types of books because it makes me analyze movies or books and their meanings and morals. Before, I never thought about books or movies in that way and I just used them for entertainment. But because of you, I'm more interested in why they were made and I value that from you. I think of you as funny or nice to us if we act appropriately, and I think of you as formal instead of mean or too strict. I also respect you for showing us good habits in life every Monday. I remember them and try to use them in my everyday life. I appreciate you because you are a great teacher. You explain everything, helps us with work, gives the class life habits, and aids students to do their assignments instead of slacking off and teaches us stuff to remember in the future. I appreciate you and I thank you for being my 8th grade English teacher. Sincerely, Mario De Leon
