Mr. Solis consistently exemplifies excellence in education through his ongoing commitment to both personal and student growth. He goes above and beyond by creating numerous opportunities for his students to perform, connecting them to the broader music community, and dedicating countless hours outside of school to foster a genuine love for music. As the leader of both the choir and band clubs, he has arranged a variety of performances for his students, including at Opportunity Village, hockey and baseball games, special events with visiting guests, music festivals, and even at a teacher memorial gathering (at which he also arranged the music to honor her)—just to name a few. He also arranged a meaningful field trip for his band members, ran a school talent show, and contributes to the school’s flag ceremony by providing live music during awards presentations. Mr. Solis consistently supports school events with background music and participates in his own musical improv group, further enriching the musical culture in our community. Moreover, his involvement extends beyond the school walls. He conducted a community symphony and choir for a large religious Easter production, demonstrating his ability to bring people together through music. In addition to all of this, Mr. Solis is deeply committed to personal communication with his students, always taking the time to engage with them when he sees them, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment.
