My teacher, Fátima Ochoa, is an amazing person who truly makes a difference in her students’ lives. What makes her so special is that she doesn’t just teach the material, she makes sure everyone understands and feels comfortable in her class. She is always patient and finds different ways to explain things so no one gets left behind. One thing I really love about her is that she makes class interesting and even fun, which makes me actually want to come to school. She uses examples we can relate to and sometimes does activities that make learning feel less stressful. Because of that, participating in class feels easier and more exciting. She also shows that she truly cares about us. She listens, asks how we’re doing, and notices when someone isn’t okay. That makes the classroom feel like a safe place where we can be ourselves without fear. On top of that, she has helped me become more confident. Even outside the classroom, she supports us by giving advice and motivating us to keep going, not just in school but in life.
