Mr. Zarco genuinely has a one-in-a-million soul that makes not only me, but many other students love him as a teacher. He has always been an amazing teacher, demonstrating his great knowledge of Chemistry in both subjects he teaches, Chemistry Honors and AP Chemistry, and always helps and supports his students to the best of his ability. Not only does Mr. Zarco show strong teaching skills, but he also has built countless connections with his students, as me and many others always show up to discuss many other topics. Mr. Zarco isn't just a teacher, he's a best friend. He creates a fun environment in class that allows students to engage more and stay on track to success. When I go to his class, I always expect good things whenever I come in and walk out, as I know I will gain something important for later on. Mr. Zarco always has a smile on his face when he sees his students and is always friendly, knowing that he is dedicated to preparing his students for success in his class. He also ensures that his students are doing okay and is always there for them, ready to give any advice that can benefit them in the long run. The one thing he cares about most is the future, and he wants to make sure that his students are all ready for the real world by the time they graduate, including me. He always looks forward to teaching necessary skills that are required for whatever career paths it is that his students take, whether that'd be going to college, attending trade school, starting fresh, or getting a job. Additionally, Mr. Zarco has made me feel so much better about myself in countless ways. Whenever I don't understand something or seem to struggle in school, he always has my back and tells me that everything will be okay, giving me advice for the future that I still hold to this day. Not only has he given me advice regarding school, but also in my personal life. From the day I met him back in sophomore year of high school to now being with him in AP Chemistry, I always look up to him as a best friend and I've built the strongest connection with him out of any other teacher, showing just how impactful he really is. He has made me feel way better about myself and allowed me to not make the same mistakes that I've made in the past. Most importantly, he has always told me to walk in with confidence whenever something major comes up like an exam, which I still hold and do to this day.
