Mr. Zarcos class was always the highlight of my day. He had this way of making everyone feel seen and heard, like we were all part of a big team working together. When I struggled with a concept, he'd stay after class to break it down for me, no matter how many times I needed it But it wasn't just about academics. When I was feeling low, he'd pull me aside and give me a pep talk that'd stick with me for days. He had this way of making you feel like you were the only person in the world, like he genuinely cared about what was going on in my life. And it wasn't just me he did that for everyone. He'd take the time to learn about each of our interests, our strengths, and our weaknesses. It was like he was trying to figure out how to make each of us shine in our own way. His class was this was like safe haven in a way. We could be ourselves, make mistakes, and learn from them without feeling judged. He encouraged us to take risks, to participate, even if we weren't sure if we were right. He made us feel like we were all in this together, and that made all the difference. I look forward to his class every day, not just because it’s fun, but because I knew I'd be supported, challenged, and inspired everyday and That's what a great teacher does.
