1. Esther demonstrates an excellent ability to maintain a balance between her personal life and her duties as a teacher, providing us [her students] with high-quality projects while also accomplishing numerous personal tasks. She is also very attentive and compassionate, frequently asking not only for updates on schoolwork but on our personal lives as well. 2. I am often excited to attend Esther's class as she allows us opportunities to develop our reading comprehension through meaningful, profound discussions. She is not hesitant to ask of our thoughts on a particular text, and will consider our thoughts before racing to judgement or asking further questions. 3. Esther frequently expresses her compassion for her students by providing them opportunities to unwind, as she understands the rigor of our current workload. Not only this, but as mentioned previously, she is always willing to check in on our lives not just as scholars, but as people. 4. Our confidence is increased greatly in Esther's class as we're granted opportunities to indulge in more complex, stimulating activities, with her support in areas in which we may demonstrate deficits. She also gives us, as students, opportunities to increase our confidence as scholars by discussing topics with peers and by having many opportunities to participate in her class. 5. Esther has excelled at not only offering support, but following through with said support. She frequently offers guidance to us and engages with us even when we are not present. Her relationships with her students are unparallelled, developing connections that will last for years to come.
