Erin Guffin is an awesome teacher because she truly cares about her students. She recognized that my daughter, Jordyn, needed extra assistance with reading comprehension and recommended tutoring which really helped. She notices if a student is having a tough time and does not hesitate to reach out with any concerns. Mrs. Guffin also takes time out of her schedule to let you know when your student is doing a good job. Just last week she wrote that Jordyn worked really hard and had a good day. It is refreshing to hear good things about your student especially since this has been a rough year for her. Jordyn thinks you are the funniest teacher, and she likes how you joke and help her with hard work.
