We want to shout out Ms Erica Reynolds for being our teacher of the year. Ms Reynolds made my son feel seen. She has 20 children in class and she was still able to reach and teach Joshua which was a difficult task. She even assisted with making sure he stayed away from food allergens during lunch. I knew Ms Reynolds was doing an amazing job when he’d use the skills she taught him in class while doing practice at home. He’d show us how Ms Reynolds used hand gestures to display the lowercase letters. When Joshua started kindergarten he struggled with letter and number identification but Ms Reynolds found ways to break down that barrier. In no time Joshua was able to identify/recall/write all 26 letters and numbers 1-10. When I saw how hard Ms Reynolds was working with him, we turned up the practice time at home as well. Well done Ms Reynolds! We salute you! God bless you!
