Ms.Yovonie is an amazing teacher who makes every kid in her class feel welcome and like they are part of her own. Everything about her and her class makes me feel like she actually wants to teach her kids, and not only that, but she cares very deeply about their future. When I had her as my teacher, and to this day, she still listens to me every time I need to talk something out or just need someone to be there for me, she's the first one that comes to my head, because for me, she's not only a teacher but a friend I've made along the way. She's been a big part of my growth because if she weren't there for me every time I sought her guidance, I would've been so lost. She helps me through the smallest thing which could be failing or struggling with classes, or the biggest things like struggles I face in life, like losing friendships. I was and am beyond blessed to have her as a teacher on our campus. She's the kind of teacher who makes her classroom feel like a safe space and not just "another class" someone has to attend. She has a little craziness in her, but that's what makes her special to me. She's not that strict a teacher; everyone grunts to attend their class, but the type to make her students look forward to seeing her. She has supported me so much in life and on my studies, because she always sees the best in me and sees a potential I don't. She's like an angel sent from heaven to not only teach us about World History, but she most importantly teaches us about life and how struggles are meant to come our way, but we'll get through them.
