This is Luke’s first year in public school and he comes home everyday excited about being in Mrs. Navarro’s class. There have even been times when he comes home sad when there is a substitute because he’s missed seeing Mrs. Navarro. I’ve seen her interact with Luke and her class and I see how much each little student loves her. Her patience and also the love she gives back to them, makes feel so honored that she is my son’s teacher. I’m so happy that his first public school experience is with Mrs. Navarro and she will forever hold a special place in his heart. He’s already shared that he doesn’t want to go to 2nd grade because Mrs. Navarro will no longer be his teacher.
