Ms Morrison is my choir teacher and a choir teacher being good is very important. While choir is a lot of personal work, and group work of course, having a good teacher is critical to a choir being good. The ability to both have fun and work hard is one Ms Morrison has mastered making choir both very fun but also very rewarding. She is incredibly supportive to all students whether they feel good or don't. I've been doing choir for 5 years now and only about one semester I've had with her yet the amount of impact she's had on me is astounding. Her mix of constructive criticism and supportiveness inspires me and other students to work hard. She makes sure we work hard in a productive way but the importance of having fun and having a good time is truly never lost on her. She has a good connection with students being able to make jokes and mess around but never letting it get in the way nor letting it become disrespectful. It truly is a privilege to have a choir teacher like her where I can improve so much, be a part of a serious group that works hard and have so much fun.
