What makes Mrs. Gill awesome is how kind and caring she is. She is always helping everyone in our class and she makes learning fun. She is funny and nice, and she always makes us smile. I like going to class every day because I know Mrs. Gill will be there. I am really happy I got to meet her and be in her class. I know she cares about me because she shows us that we matter. She helps me when things are hard and even calls my mom when I need extra help. That makes me feel like she really believes in me. Mrs. Gill helps me feel confident in class when we do subtraction and addition because she takes time to help me understand. When someone gets frustrated, she helps them calm down and reminds us that we are a “growth mindset family.” I like when she says that and teaches us strategies to keep trying and never give up. Mrs. Gill makes our classroom feel like a happy and safe place to learn, and that is why she is the best teacher.
